Re: Dynamic Models Suspension Car
I keep skipping over a very cool linear servo on eBay that would be a great era correct unit for this car and also keep with the unique and high tech theme. And it's only $15

It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas

Re: Dynamic Models Suspension Car
I saw that and considered buying, but I'm pretty particular about things and am trying to hold off till I can find a whole set up. I don't like mix matching parts and it may take just as long to buy one by one as it may take for that complete system to pop up. Just saw a brand new Kraft radio set on ebay. Unfortunately someone was willing to spend more than me this time.gomachv wrote:I keep skipping over a very cool linear servo on eBay that would be a great era correct unit for this car and also keep with the unique and high tech theme. Did a couple more small detailing with a sharpie marker. The little details are starting to make it look complete. Gonna try to start sourcing out some decals for it. Probably have to have some made too.

Made up a "crash bar" similar to how the instructions recommended. Just used the existing holes instead of going through the front of the chassis. It sits about .5" behind the nose of the body.

Thanks man. I'm seeing more and more of them as time goes on. I'm trying to make mine stand out by being complete as if it were ready to drive.

Extremely cool car. One of the best I have seen. It has such a lovely vintage vibe about it. The gearbox in particular is stunning. Great restoration and colour choice too

Re: Dynamic Models Suspension Car
Do you have any more pictures of that car? In my research I'm stating to believe the side plates are standard to the car, just a later production version.

Re: Dynamic Models Suspension Car
Yes I have pics, but I believe the previous owner did the mods. He also had a Sidewinder (missing side pans) and several extra cast parts including the proper cast Can_Am body spacers.

Re: Dynamic Models Suspension Car
It's hard to see in that picture but is that a clutch bell on the front of the trans? If so do you know if that was a factory part. All the ones I see have a drive bone and coupler type joint. Mine has an external centrifugal clutch along with the internal.
