Re: Parma Vette Motor + misc
The Parma resistor, Yokomo Charger and Graupner Cobalt motor.
The Parma Resistor - Is it for a MSC?
Yokomo charger - Were these high technological wonders ever in use?
Graupner Cobalt Motor - Cobalt is the magnet type, but who made this motor originally and for which application? It has replaceable brushes, somebody just mounted the endbell upside down
Any information appreciated.

The 45Ω resistor is for slot car use- mainly HO size. The resistors for rc are closer to 1Ω

Re: Parma Vette Motor + misc
This http://www.rc10talk.com/download/file.php?id=75789&mode=view is the same type of motor, also using a cobalt magnet. Got this motor some days ago but it is not wearing any sticker. This cobalt magnet is the strongest I ever have seen, without pliers it´s not possible turning the armature. Even the Astro Cobalt motors don´t have magnets this strength.
The endbell is completely OK this way. The basic motor is made by Air Supply and was used also by Mugen for their early 1/12 motors, but of course using ferrite magnets. I think motors like this were used for aircraft and boats, also for dragsters,

Many thanks, gomachv and V12, for Your helpfull answers.
The boat angle on the motor seems very reasonable - there´s other boat stuff in the lot.
