Ditto, I upgraded to lipo and brushless but still use old school AM TX/RX. When I was racing the bomber I threatened to poke other racers in the eye with my 3ft antenna

You have them all ducking when you turn around on the driver stand That is good strategy if you have a faster guy in your main...Stand next to him and make him avoid the antenna

I have a cheapo hobby king setup I use on my "runner", basically just transferring the $4 receiver between cars. Anyway, I still reach for the antenna and try to pull it up. Doh force of habit
