Re: Nikko Truck
Normal and turbo with headlights, 2 speed gearbox on the axle, probably for normal batteries, it came with the optional nicd and charger luckily. Soft rubber tyres, would be good as proportional, they even went 27mhz with stock crystals, one in handset one under roof spoiler, it has a horn button, and does a fair air brake noise when stopping, I liked the colours of my other black one better, no sound unit on that though.

Re: Nikko Truck
That is pretty cool, but seems a little large for 1/24th scale? It would be cool to set up a road block with some plastic models built up and crash through them with that....

I thought that looked familiar.... this is the centre-spread poster from the December 1991 / January 1992 issue of Australian Rc magazine Dirt & Track (issue number 22).....purpletimbo wrote:Might not be quite what you were expecting, but I like it

Unfortunately, no article that I can find as yet....
Getting a semi from (a) Nikko does seem a little far-fetched....vwjuice wrote:That's sweet. I didn't know Nikko made a semi.

Made my day Alex
this was the other I owned, sent them both to USA in clearout other year, wish I could find another as cheap as the thunder was

borrowed pic from last ebay one I missed out on

1/25 is about right, you can take the trailer box off on a clip, leaves a treaded car transporter, fits xmods a treat about 3 at a time
