It was all me... B4.1 Wc had plus 8 too. I'm surprised that AE isn't in the same neighborhood with Losi and Kyosho. My b4.2 measured out to 281mm.

There may be some discrepencies (Sp?) on the AE website.

The B4.2 specs per the AE website is 281mm... Funny part is that the B4.1 also states 281mm, LOL... I thought that maybe they would have updated that part since the 4.2 comes with a longer chassis, Oh well... so much for that.
They increased the chassis length on the .2 to the T4 length?

The T4.2 on the website specs say 288mm and the B4.2 says 281mm... And the B4.1 specs say 281mm... I just measured my older FT T4 and the wheelbase is really close to 292... I just eyeballed it and measured so that is a really loose measurement and it does have the rear hubs in the middle... I would assume that its possible a T4 chassis would be above ROAR legal limit in buggy form and Associated's specs might be wrong as they have listed on the website. It would also depend on how exactly it is measured which I would assume that a "Maximum" means the overall length at its full potential.

T4.2 listed specs: http://www.teamassociated.com/cars_and_trucks/RC10T4.2/Factory_Team/specs/
B4.2 listed specs: http://www.teamassociated.com/cars_and_trucks/RC10B4.2/Factory_Team/specs/
B4.1 listed specs: http://www.teamassociated.com/cars_and_trucks/RC10B4.1/Worlds_Car/specs/

I havent taken a picture yet, cant find the memory card...

BUT...it is 291-292 using my ruler. Either way, I will never have a problem club racing...other than having to run with the mod guys because its pretty much an unfair fight running it in blinky :) I qualified 3rd in a mixed class of 7 cars...4 mod & 3 stock. I was only .01 off of being 2nd. First did have the rest of us in his hands, to toys with at will.

I gave it a shot too gents. I couldn't resist yet another project. I took the sides off for the entire length, cut them into four about midway (just into the beginning of the broad radius bend), and then I filed the front pieces down and flipped them front to back, resulting in this shape.

It's a shape that nails the JC Finisher Centro shell pretty much spot on.

He’s my stab at a narrow B4 chassis…

I took the lazy route instead of cutting and gluing the factory piece I printed one. Besides going narrower it’s also longer, 2mm longer than the +8 B4.2 chassis and the weight is almost the same. I also added a divider in the battery tray to mount all the electronics in-line and to keep the wiring hidden I added some recessed channels and routing holes. I have a JC RB6 Finnisher that’s getting spray bombed tonight that fits moderately well, next time I design a chassis I’m going to have a body in mind to match the profile. Race weight with body is currently 1530g. Testing is going to start tomorrow, if all goes well I’m going to race this car at the Spektrum race at Trackside in Milwaukie next week.

Steve this is an incredibly awesome creation you have. Just awesome, if it works out great and you mass produce I think you'll have a great seller.
