There is a video of that indoor arena in color on the Gene Hustings DVD.. It is the 1984 'faux' WC at Annaheim

Sadly, it doesn't show that car even though the photo's of the track are in color on the DVD.

Took some time this weekend to think about where else than in my stuff I saw that picture, and I wonder if it couldn't be one of my brain farts...

I think I swap it with this one

Ed will have to take a picture of a colorsample sheet and convert that to black and white to pick out the corresponding grey hues.
Or just content with the fact nobody here can tell him his choice is off

Apparently according to Gene Husting, Jay Halsey mounted the rear shocks upside down because "the car worked better that way" Gene agrees that the car does handle better but could never really fathom why!!

I was not aware that Gene was born before an apple felt on good old Newton's head. I guess they perform better just because all the weight from the shocks is actually lowered, which helps to enhance center of gravity of the car...
