Who hasn't built their re-release yet?

Post by RC10th »

I bought two kits, one to build and one to keep in the box. At this point in time both are still sitting unbuilt in their boxes, although I opened one to check out. I'll get around to it one day.

Who else hasn't built theirs yet?

Not me! I couldn't wait to crack open the kit and build it with my son. We are done and just need to wait until I can paint the shell.

Really haven't had the desire to build either of mine. Before I do , I want to get a bearing kit for it.

I bought two kits as well, I opened one box and ordered bearings, then I did the tire lettering and I was already bored with it. I hate these rear hubs that are unusable, the blotchy ano and the Chinese origin. In the end this kit doesn't have any effect on me, I still prefer to work on a genuine old wreck :D

Uncompromising David, as ever

Due to lack of time because of the winter (indoor) racing season and to also give a chance to other projects that have long been in the pipeline, I just cracked one of the kits opened to check it out, the other one is still sealed and will remain so for a while I think

i actually just started one of mine last night. picked up a bearing kit like 2 weeks ago. this one is just getting done stock, so it'll go together quick and i can move on to something else. up until then, i really had no ambition to do anything with either one of them.

Bought two, been collecting parts for the one I will build for a little while and finally opened it to have a look inside and also get the body out to send out for paint.

The other one will stay sealed.

I unsealed mine to check it out.

I won't build it until I get some inspirational vision for how it should look, what parts I'll hop up, and how it'll be powered in the end. Because it won't stay gold and stock, I know that much. I've already started to throw some additional parts in the box with all the plastic bagged new stuff.

Built one, kept one sealed

Mine went from stock to purple in a week lol. I wasn't too impressed with the anno being blotchy. I won't say the car was a complete disappointment but it wasn't that feel that you get cracking open an old rc10. The tissue paper that used to greet you...gone. The bagging is horrendous, the .035 in its own bag hiding, the overall feel just isn't there.

I bought one, no plans to build it, but I did open the box. I wanted to have a look at the parts, since I'm not really a seller, I don't care how much the value goes down now that the box has been opened.

I bought two, thinking I would build one and store the other,
they are both still sealed at this point...

I have no plans to sell, but I'm not motivated to build either. :?
