Dremel knows their market

This caught my eye when I was in Home Depot last night. I was there for a toilet seat but we all know how that goes.

Just in case you need more detail:

Whoever took the picture just happened to have a Gold Pan and the rear clip of a Tamiya Fox laying around? I don't recognize the rollcage.

I miss brushed motors in that hazy, everything seemed better when I was a kid, kind of way.

Rollcage looks like an old Marui Galaxy, maybe? Not something that anyone should come near with a Dremel, anyway...

I wonder how many years they have been using that picture?

The Galaxies came with both red and blue cages so I'm assuming it's a red one. Perhaps the photo shoot lighting and or packages printing makes it look orange.

I guess they could have found a used one in order to demonstrate cutting that just...

so I was at home depot picking up some parts when I noticed the dremel ez lock cutting kit. I noticed this on the box. is that a worlds chassis :lol: If that rollcage is for the rc10, id like to know where it came from lol.

Well I've actually had some free time to work on some of my projects lately, which is cool. I got my Championship Edition all together, Just need a body now, and I am almost done with my white GT. Today while working on the GT I ran out of 4-40...

I can see where you are coming from. I love seeing RC cars pop up in everyday things like commercials or tv shows. I think it gives more legitimacy to what we do instead of people saying, Oh, you play with RC cars.

Just purchased a Dremel EZ Lock cut off wheel kit. Noticed on the back they had a picture of an RC-10. Thought that was cool.

I usually do not find anything at the flea market , so I was surprised to stumble across these today. I paid twenty dollars for the Stampede , seven dollars for the Kyosho and also found a bag of old Transformers toys . I already threw in batteries...

Man that Javelin looks real good now, nice find. And a couple of those G1 Transformers are worth a couple $ too. You made out nicely.

Today my local track was celebrating its 10th year anniversary in business. They had free open practice, flea market and a bunch of great deals in the shop.

I bought a new set of springs for the SC10 and hit the track for some much needed...

RPM Steering setup. Does anyone know if I can add bearings to this setup?

I added bearings to a losi RPM bell crank which looks like it used the same white bushing.
I drilled the cranks out to 5/16 and then used 3/16x5/16 flanged...
