Yeah, well... 20 year old kid in a Slipknot T-shirt... If I had to guess, I'd say his uncle (or someone) gave him these, and he took a lot of bad advice from some buddies who were into the whole "Beat Your Truck" scene, and what you see here is the result. There is a brushless motor in the toolbox I'll post a photo of later, that has its output shaft sheared off level with the can.
On the plus side, most of it can be salvaged, especially with the re-re parts being available now. I think I can get 2 buggies, 2 trucks, one good B2 (or b3? I'll need help with that one), and maybe the T2 back to rolling. And old junky pan cars are always fun to mess around with.
It also included 3 buggy bodies that I have already thrown out (6-7 coats of paint on the outside) and 4 old 27mhz RTR-quality radios that will be hitting the trash soon.
