Haha! There are a few fast guys that have them. I'll say this, I'm interested to see if they actually work well on a hard packed surface. They were really meant for lose lomey dirt.

No wagers, but I would expect my YZ10 to get up in there somewhere. Just have to figure out which one of them I want to run...

There were guys racing XX4's at the Reedy race last year. They'll do fine indoors.

They sure did, and they sure do very well in capable hands- that is going to be a very very hard car to beat with a non-boosted 10.5!

Man I hope one day I can make the trip out there for the race. I'd be nice if someone took notice and setup up a vintage race like this out in So Cal. I know I'll be watching on live RC thoughout the event.

IMO you nailed the rule changes. I like that you're now allowing slightly newer cars in, and the additions to the rules make them a lot less ambiguous. I'll definitely try to make it this year.
I just have a few questions, as I'm building up my short arm for Classic class. I've asked these before, right before you disappeared for a while, so please forgive me for being a pest.
Is cutting of the chassis permitted? Is it the kind of thing that's "technically" okay, but is frowned upon?
How about the A&L bellcrank?
Thanks!
. . . you have Associated Green Slime for brains. And not even new Green Slime, but old gooped out Green Slime.

You can mod the chassis etc. The only criteria for running it in Classic is that it has to have the short suspension and hard (and small) tires.
