It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas Factory Works website

Yo. Nice site you guys got going here! Yes I've been away long enough that this build of the month thing hit me in the faces as totally new, but I do see a few threads that have refused to die.
So cutting to the chase: Today, after an impressive...

Renting a house is stressful. I ended up selling ours in the end as it wasn't worth it. That being said there is a difference between a rental property and a home.
Good luck with the move, I wish I could move to Washington. The climate is quite...
I have an Edinger motor that was working ok. After a week it got slower and slower until it stopped. With Tamiya motors and prewar lionel trains a quick spray with electric contact cleaner usually fixes this. Well after a couple of shots with...

I have never opened one, but I have read various methods on this site. If no one responds, you might try searching. Your motor has been opened at least once already as evidenced by the motor tabs. You might be able to get a small flat blade...
Because of my day job, I'm very familiar with dozens of different polymers/plastics (I design plastic parts that are molded, extruded or machined). So, I thought it might be a good idea to start a thread that discusses what types of plastics were...

Anyone have a good online source for cheap individual taps without buying a set? I plan...

Let's say that I ruined one of the servo mounts on my new RC10 B6.3D by forcing a screw in there at the wrong angle. Now the bolt will only go in half way. I can live with the mistake, but I'd rather fix it. I'd like to re-tap the hole, but I am...

M3 0.5 tap was the correct one. Thanks for the help.
Those of you who race on a club, regional or national level how often do you replace the plastics? Do you replace them once a season, or buy a new car for the start of a new season? Or do you just run and replace them as needed?
Seems to me like...

I wonder if can drill the hinge pin holes out since worn anyways and put brass tubes in them to take on the wear factor plus making them live longer.Think thatd be feasable?Don
I am pretty sure the original astute had brass bushing in the plastic...
Want to find a good dye to make old plastics that were dye back to white, I have found letting them sit in a 1/4 bleach water for a few days helps but it only goes so far.

Great, thanks.
Too bad there's not a white dye to make older parts look new again.
I'll see what just (near) boiling them does for cleaning up and rejuvenating them.
Has it been discussed on here what Rit dye combinations and available hobby...
