I've been saving up parts for a bit...I couldnt handle it anymore so I assembled up to what I could. I have MIP CVDs already, rear shocks, turnbuckles...just need front shocks, ball studs and fresh ball cups to make it a roller.

The purple shocks look great! Wish I had a spare motor plate and guard in purple for ya
It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas Factory Works website
Hmmm...I havent updated this lately. Kinda stalled out for a bit. Changed up the motor plate to a black JConcepts one, made the motor guard from a scrap of kydex. Also, got the body painted up (not me, but a damn good painter/friend/fellow racer).

I'm always shocked at how you guys can paint a shell like that BEFORE cutting it... because when you cut it, especially an RC10 body which is a PITA to cut properly with the shock towers and all, there is no way you won't damage/scratch some of the paint...
Anyways - looking forward to the final pics!

The skull is my painters logo...I told him to put his logo on the roof instead of the signature RC10 masami logo...I didnt expect him to make his skull into the logo...that is a GREAT surprise and I love it. I'm going to cringe the first few flips and crashes with the car...but I build 'em to run 'em. So, it will get ran!

I just wanted to do a quick poll to see what people would do.
I have all the shapeways parts for a replica and getting a good start on the rare parts too, and I just ordered a bunch of race parts for the NIX build including extra arms, but I only...

I think I'm liking the runner so far, it's starting to fit in already
Finally getting around to a project I have wanted to build since I got back into RC. It's a replica/tribute to the RC10 that I raced as a kid in the late 80's. I lived in Southern MN and we raced at a skating rink in the winter and at a local guys...
Way back in the day I had a Hotshot , it was pretty good to race at first but was soon eclipsed by other cars like the Optima and CAT , so my hotshot kind of started to develop in order to keep up , this first picture is something I'd forgotten I'd...
Hello All,
I competed a couple of years around 1990 with a really nice build of RC10 buggy. 1992 I sold it along some other nice cars to be able to buy a certain 1:1 car.
Over the years, I have often regretted selling it. After many years of...

What car is that?
My dad's Volvo 240 model year 1987. Also vintage :D
I was stoked to run across this painted and detailed on ebay. It came as you see it for a heck of a price (I was prepared to drop some serious coin if I had to). Not sure who painted this, whether it was a local thing or something that came from...

Hey - I'm thinking about building a Works 91 from scratch using as many new (NIP) parts as I possibly can. I don't mind taking my time collating them all together, but wanted advice as to which I'm going to find the hardest (or impossible) to...

Chassis looks to have some fairly large lightening holes cut in front. By the limited picture, they seem pretty smoothly done. Did it affect chassis flex noticeably?
I’ve been working on this Phil Davies replica Procat build for the last few months, working from the feature on the car from the Radio Race Car magazine. It’s slowly getting there and I’ve tried to get all the small details correct with the metal...
