Post by stulec52 »

Hey guys,
I'm building a Cougar 2000 from mostly new parts, and the screws I have look well used...

I know these guys are UK based - but they are a good source for metric screws of all types suitable for Schumacher cars.

I couldn't find any pan head self-tappers on that site Dan, being a Schui tragic I need those.
This site lists them however:

(Though I haven't made an enquiry yet and will probably find out there's a minimum order of ten thousand!)
If anyone has ideas about original type screws or screwsets for early Schumachers such as Procat please yell!

The biggest issue I ve found is finding someone that does the self tappers with a blunt end (type B) and most self tappers come with points (type AB) which are no good for a Schumacher purest,

Just snip the ends off with a pair of side cutters
