works 91 finally
This car has honestly been in a box for 9 years before I decided to finish it (nearly)
It was bought from ebay HK but I believe it came from japan as the original body (destroyed when some goose tried to remove the paint) had yatabe stickers and JMRCA #s on it, anyway here it is all I really did was replace the hubs and a few rusty bits and a good cleaning it's been hardly run as you can tell and has the softest flexiest front arms you will ever see about 20 degrees of caster with very little force i don't know if these cars were ever released with these arms as they are crazy soft and look to be good for shelf duty only I find it hard to believe yokomo could sell a car with these on but maybe? All other arms I have seen have extra bracing and are of a much stiffer material The electrics are original and it looks like the battery was just taken out and the car pushed to one side maybe he preferred his lazer?

Nice...
I have a '93 Works runner, and I can tell you those arms are far from soft.

stickers on
This shell was given to me by a friend I raced with back in the day as he had kept all his stuff the white is probably Tamiya paint the rest was pactra he tells me, but long story short the pactra had all cracked and flaked off so I removed it by soaking it in metho and was left with the white which means i had to paint it in reverse white followed by dark which is painful but anyway its different to what I would normally do and he says he likes it

Re: works 91 finally
I was just about to put this car away and i had a thought to look my other works 91 to see if the front arms are different which they are but so are the caster blocks obviously the earlier ones were prone to weakness so they have been beefed up somewhat on later cars.
