I let the chassis soak in hot water as it loosens the glue then i use goof off to get the rest of the residue off.

Very nice job on the build, can't wait to see the painted body!

The B2 was one of those cars that I missed during my period of inactivity in the hobby so I don't know much about the platform. Your build has inspired me to start building a box art example myself.

Looks like the chassis you went with is the carbon fiber composite (I reckon what we call "hard" version now), but is it the short version or the standard? Doing a ton of research last night it seems there is not a ton of difference between the B2 and the B3 I have at home, mostly suspension geometry, etc.

The only part I was not able to source so far is the rear chassis plate. It looks similar but not identical to the B3's rear chassis plate. Does anyone know if the plates are interchangeable? At a glance it looks like the only difference is the B3 plate is slightly wider at the back, presumably to protect more of the motor.

Yes the rear plate between b2 and b3 is interchangeable and this is the short version carbon chassis.

Got my tires today from Aaron and mounted them up and installed them on the car. Looks much better now.

And for the best part of this build is my 10.00 dollar  nip custom painted body I got in the mail today. This is an original b2 team body.

Very nice build. I have really become a big fan of the B2/B3/T3 stuff lately...
