Out of curiosity, were there "house" transponders available for racers this year like last year? I looked everywhere at the track but couldn't find them.

I think they ware located under the stairs up to the drivers stand, the stairs nearest the shop.

There are some fairly decent videos of this year's VONat action over at the youtube.
Sorry, maybe I'll add a link later. Just do a search.

OK, thanks. I'm going to take the plunge and get my own. Would you happen to know what type of transponder is compatible with the track there? I'm looking at an expensive Mylaps RC4 3-wire unit vs an MRT PTX for far less so I'm trying to figure out which one I can use.Hcp22 wrote:I think they ware located under the stairs up to the drivers stand, the stairs nearest the shop.

My schedule has changed so much lately, if I'm in the States, I might just show up...wit as much notice as I can give. I'll make sure I travel with a vintage RC10

You're not that far and its well worth the trip. Would you happen to know if the following transponder would work at the VONATs? I believe its the most common one used and is the "standard" one most racers are running but it's not cheap so I want to be sure before I order it. Thanks.R Cane wrote:
