RC10DS Projects Thread
I've got a couple of DS projects going on so I figured I'd start a thread to keep track of the progress. First up is a DS I acquired used that will be getting refresh.
This is how I received it and its current condition:
This is the Mustang DS body I found on ebay. It had been taken out of its original package and had light scratches but was unpainted. I encountered some issues painting this body with over spray and bleed through in a couple of spots but overall it will be good for a light runner:
I'll updates as progress continues.

Re: RC10DS Projects Thread
Thanks!
Started adding more detail to the body:
Chrome wheels are new but are already flaking around the lip

Re: RC10DS Projects Thread
Thanks fellas!
There isn't any re pops of these bodies that I know of. I have a Parma body that's similar but it's a bit wider.
More detailing coming soon as well as a chassis clean up.

Re: RC10DS Projects Thread
Fitting an older Pro-Line interior. I had to make a cut for the shock tower in order to get the interior to sit low enough. Covered it with a piece a stainless trim.
The body will sit a little lower than this.

Re: RC10DS Projects Thread
This looks awesome. The ds fell right in the timeframe that I wasn't paying attention to rc, so I never new it existed until recently!
