Re: Mark Pavidis RC10 Replica
Dyed the rear arms. Gave the bulkhead a trim and added a hole to route the motor wires. Also did the aterations to the rear shock tower.

Got the inner beads cut off the wheels and mounted up the tires. Sooo glad they didn't rip...... I was worried.

Was it a tight stretch to get them on?

Re: Mark Pavidis RC10 Replica
They're pretty hard and dried out. I didn't measure the inside diameter of them, but they were probably in the 1.8 range having to go on 2.1-2.0 wheels. If they were fresh I wouldn't have worried one bit about them. Damn 20+ year old parts.

Once the tub comes back from milling, I have almost everything ready to go to make it a roller pretty quick.

Re: Mark Pavidis RC10 Replica
I picked up this little bellcrank lot on ebay the other day. The auction didn't have the greatest pics, but I was pretty sure the black ones were Composite Craft...... which I need for this build. Thankfully, that's exactly what they were.
The white ones are new, original worlds bellcranks. I'm sure they'll find their way onto something one day.

Re: Mark Pavidis RC10 Replica
I'm pretty sure mark use a JG front bumper on his car that was slightly altered. I didn't want to cut up an original, so I got some kydex sheet and made one. Got a little haevy handed with the countersink, so I'll probably end up making another at some point.

What thickness kydex are you using there? That looks a little thinner than the 1/8 I got from McMaster. 1/16? Just curious. The 1/8 I got is going to be a b$%@ to put any bend into unless I drop it in some scalding water for a bit...

I'm gonna have to blow it back apart to have some milling done to the bottom of the tub, but I had to somewhat throw it together to see what it looked like.
