Thanks for the advice all. As luck would have it, many folks in Hong Kong take the Christian holidays off! I found out the hard way lol, no rc buying, a nice walk around the city...maybe a good thing.
in the era around 90's .............on-road buggies were very popular in Hong Kong ..........simply because of the lack of off-road tracks .........& also the easy cleaning up of the car after playing.......... :)

In sweden during the winter back in the days we raced buggies with saloon bodies stock motors on foams tires indoors on carpet and it was fun and its very hard to get tangled up due to the big body.
