I have never objected to any of the modern racing platforms, it's the pig ugly modern cab forward body shells that ruin it for me.
Now, this as a 'best of both worlds' solution might even catch on because the proportions look right.

Thank you for posting this. I'm so glad these bodies fit too. This is the confirmation I was waiting for to buy a B6.

It's not necessarily that they fit, but you can MAKE them fit. They take a little work, but in the end you don't have some ugly spaceship with wheels.

You could always take and force the modern b6 paint scheme to fit the old viper body :)

NB: Jumps are also more technical today , so advantage to the mid, even on low/med traction tracks.

Is an rc10b6.2D ok for carpet?

Hi everyone,
I'm just getting into rc and indoor carpet racing. While looking for a car I found someone with the rc10b6.2D that's barely been used. Would that be good for a carpet track or would I quickly be limited by it and wished I'd spent my...

I’ve been wandering this path too.. I’d like to race both track types but can’t afford 2 cars. Carpet is rough on ball diffs apparently.

My new RC10 B63D is running well. I've had to figure out a lot of things along the way and these forums were a great resource. My latest issue is with the body of the car. I don't really see or understand how it's supposed to mount to the rest of...

I know it's not necessarily vintage but could someone measure the diameter if the springs used on AE RC10B6.4 13mm shocks please? Part number 91947, 91948 or 91949 and possibly others.
I'm looking for springs with about a 15mm diameter, 60mm...

Any idea what model Losi?
