Finally got around to spraying it.
Tamiya TS cobalt green. Just TS... No number or nothing. Never seen that before.
The bed was painted with Rustoleum high heat grill paint to simulate a spray in bed liner. It was all I had since my flat black wasn't spraying right.

Limited edition spray can for a specific 1/24 scale Porsche car model. Congrats.
Yup. For the Porsche 934. But when Tamiya released their 30th anniversary Porsche 934 RC kit, they came out with the same cobalt green as a limited edition polycarbonate spray, but it has a number (PS-54). I wonder why the change now and if Tamiya is just going to go by color name from here on out?
Almost the final product of the restored T2. Just need a body and It's done.

Yea I just threw them on that day to try some bodies on, it's fixed now along with the shock mounts on the front A arm. Thanks for the info though. I realized it when I was adjusting them.

Some delrin wheels with a different offset would be the ticket and they can be machined to spin super true. I had the idea to machine the wheels with a different offset two years ago bit never did it. I need to get back on that. You could still...
I used to have a close on a Zilla 2 chassis I sold 7-8 years ago and have since regretted. Anyway this popped up on the local CL about 20 mins away from me and at a reasonable price so I pulled the trigger. When I got home there were some killer...

Nice find! I too regret selling off all my clods years ago as well!
Hold onto this project and I look forward to your build. You have some nice vintage items in there as well!
I've been on a Craigslist streak recently; I've found 3 or 4 good vehicles in the past couple months. Here's my latest, a tired old Clod Buster that I picked up for the princely sum of $50:

Out of curiosity, I stuck a...

Been running this old monster quite a bit recently. I'm thinking it might be time to tear it down and make a few improvements. In the meantime, here's some hot Clod action for your Wednesday evening:
Here’s the start of my first ever Clodbuster build. Really no clue how to build a monster truck and I don’t always like to build off of proven platforms so I’m going back to my old school crawler roots and scratch building as much as I can. Here’s...

I was ready to make the (final version) of the chassis but was put on hold until I had electronics. That stalled me out because I wasn’t ready to buy at the moment and now I’m just lacking motivation to RC. I’ll get to it one day.
Hello all, I see a few familiar faces from clodtalk here. I figured I'd share my latest clod-build here. Not as crazy as some of my previous builds, but I think it's proving to be pretty well-balanced.
Basically stock, except for the e-maxx shocks...
