Ultima wheels were a PITA to use with that stupid inner ring. I ditched those so fast since they never stayed together.

I think you are talking about the hole under the drivecup: it's to give acccess to the setscrew of the drive cup. The alu chssis of the utlima has it also.

true, but it uses the drive cup design of the ultima, and trackmaster made ultima gearboxes too: I guess they thought it was a good idea to copy over :mrgreen:

I was. and I wasn't.

so the body was made to fit the rc10, and these holes in the mounts of the trackmaster are to access the setscrews of the drive cups 8) all clear now
