Ive seen those body savers before but I don’t know the back story with them. Chris has all the A&L body stuff, so I didn’t get involved in the body stuff.

Another small order from RC Nitro Hobbies in CA. This time it's a belt, pulleys and front diff assembly for the Javelin. It's raining here today so timing is perfect.

And you can still get em. Nutted by hand even. Just have to call to order.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Thanks for the kind comments gentlemen
No battery cups for this one but I have a stash of parts that should come in shortly where battery cups are there... problem is this stash of parts also is pretty much a whole car, too... so I'll have to find some other parts which will lead to another car and so on... you know how it goes...
Seriously : this one I think should end up a runner for the Savoyarde 2018 (I think @nikorentin posted some info and video about what this is in his introduction thread) . It's been carefully raced by a talented pilot in the past and although very nice is not shelf queen material compared to others. Some white AE battery boxes will do the job just fine for a fraction of the cost of the originals It will have to rob some other car's spot in the pipeline, but that's the way it is I guess.
Yup, proper period 'buckles from Kelly's finest '91-'92 production!
Thanks @heretic for the friendly delivery, too, was good to see you buddy, albeit shortly

Very cool leathers. Attending The Isle of Man TT someday is high on my bucket list. Some of the most exciting racing in all of motorsport for sure.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Went and picked it up, not actually mailed to me, which is how I usually get this kind of stuff.
It's from an ad on Craig's; the guy said he had 4 boxes of RC stuff that he just wanted gone. Someone gave it all to him, and he had no interest in any of it.
Went and checked it out, it was about half toy grade, and half hobby grade. Dude said he only had one of the toy grade ones running, that's as far as he felt like messing with it.
Most of the haul is here in the picture:
Everything was all dumped together, no remotes with their prospective vehicles, etc. I spent a little time matching things together, and so far, every one of them works. As for the toy grade, a few are just generic Chinese things, like $15 when new. Those will probably just go to Goodwill. There were a few nicer toy grade ones, will probably give these to kids I know, or maybe my kids. My son particularly likes the hovercraft (not shown - there was still another big box to be unloaded from my car when I took the picture) - even though toy grade, that one is almost $100 new, and it's kinda cool. 2 cars are just like XMods, but not labeled as such, so probably generic copies.
Anyway, the good stuff was in the bottom of the boxes. There were 4 4-wheel drive 1/18 electrics. Two are Xray M18, one of which has a Castle Mamba Competition X ESC and motor (8,000kV). The other 2 are buggies, I haven't taken the time to ID them yet. There was also a Novak T-4, some Novak stickers I didn't have, what appear to be used JRXT wheels and tires, 6 or so transmitters, including a Futaba Magnum Sport, JR, and 2PL, and a few brushed motors, including a pink Monster Jr. Also several ziplock bags of parts and tires, which I am guessing are for the Xray cars, without further checking.
I didn't spend much time inspecting the contents before I bought it. In the bottom of a couple boxes, I saw what I took at the time to be a handful of Matchbox or Hot Wheels cars. Nope, there were 5 ZipZaps, with controllers and extra parts and motors, and 4 more similar ones (1 of them a motorcycle) that are not marked with a brand, but have the same type of charging connection.
All of this was $50... a nice deal - some cool stuff for me, and some fun stuff for the kids!

50 bucks? Wow, what a steal! It pays to check CL.
Oh, you forgot to mention the (stolen?) Wal-Mart basket.
