Re: MRP Pro-110 and Stage II
The original stickers on this body are actually in pretty good shape. I'm assuming that the original painter cut out the stickers and applied them to the body first. Then masked over them and painted the outside of the body. Its an interesting effect, the likes of which I've never seen before. Probably for good reason. And the paint does not appear to be the correct paint for lexan. I am therefore *hoping* that paint removal won't be terrible and maybe I can remove the stickers intact. However, my impatience usually causes problems while working on delicate projects such as this. I'm in no hurry to get this project going, or completed. So hopefully that will benefit the final product.
Thanks for the tips and ideas. Going to give them a try.

Re: MRP Pro-110 and Stage II
Some progress: great tip on heating the stickers! I got all the original stickers removed in tact and I trimmed up the edges as best as I trusted myself to do. Now, what to do with the body. I need to determine the best method for removing the old paint, or do I just paint over it on the outside, or just see if I could send it to TBG for reproduction? In-decisions...

I have a Pro-110 that is missing a few parts....do you happen to have a manual showing the part #'s? Missing thw external trans gears and related hardware that attaches the gears....and the cover.

Re: MRP Pro-110 and Stage II
Nice work saving those stickers! I don't know what to suggest for the body other than don't paint over top. It won't look that great, you'll have a semi-gloss finish instead of a glossy look. I also hesitate to suggest ways of removing the paint, because if it was painted with something like Pactra, that stuff bonds to the Lexan and can be extremely difficult to remove. I've tried various things to remove paint from a test body I got from someone, even using nitro fuel, DOT 3 brake fluid and much more...it ended up hazing the Lexan. If you're trying to save that body, don't go this route. Sending it to TBG might be a good idea.

Re: MRP Pro-110 and Stage II
I do have manuals, so I'll write myself a sticky note to look up the proper pages and I'll post them.
I may need to try contacting TBG. But it shouldn't matter to them if the lexan is hazed or not, right?? I suppose I might as well try removing the paint.

Re: MRP Pro-110 and Stage II
True, as long as the Lexan is intact, I suppose TBG could use it to pull clone bodies...but I don't know what their requirements are; i.e. if the body has holes drilled or cut, or if the body was already cut along the trim lines...you'd have to get in touch with TBG.

Re: MRP Pro-110 and Stage II
I forgot that the Pro-110 manual is already part of this fantastic forum: https://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=82&t=12913&p=492602#p492602. There are several Pro-110 parts floating around eBay, but if you need any assistance on parts, let me know. I may be able to help. That's a great looking Pro-110, BTW.

Re: MRP Pro-110 and Stage II
I got in touch with TBG, and they are not able to create new bodies at this time. However, I was told that they were working on a new project and to stay tuned.
