Re: What's for dinner?
Great to see you back in the operating room Joey! Several months ago I added to my laziness by adding a second electric smoker. It's much larger and has a lot more bells and whistles than my first. What I lose in smoking purity I can make up for in technique. Not to mention it will hold 100 pounds of meat. I have a great joke to follow that, but will resist... Anyway, I hadn't posted anything lately so here's a couple of shots of some baby backs and butterflied chickens from recent months. It smokes like a Vegas Slot Jockey and has a remote that controls the smoker temp and tells you the meat temperature. I used a secondary thermometer to begin with to see if I could trust it. It's pretty accurate.

Re: What's for dinner?
I just can't get into Swiss Chalet...I don't know what the hell they put in their "gravy"...nutmeg? Cloves? It just ain't right.
Kentucky Fried Chicken has, hands down, the best gravy for fries or chicken. I know the stuff is practically cardiovascular poison...and for that, I only have it a couple times per year...but I swear, if KFC were healthy, I'd eat it every day!

Re: What's for dinner?
16 oz medium rare Angus Prime Choice Ribeye. No sides. Saving my carbs for beer.

Re: What's for dinner?
Now that is the way to do it! I have a few T bone steaks ready to grill, same situation. No need for sides, drink beer and eat later.
I would post a pic of the steaks but I am lazy and watching some CFL football. Those ribs look freakin tasty!

Keep it real Dave! NFL first Sunday schedule kicked off today. I brought it in with some BBQ chicken thighs.

Re: What's for dinner?
Well, it's Saturday night so I guess it's time to cut loose. I had some leftover pork steak so I decided to make an overloaded potato. If I had any shame it would probably be felt tonight. Luckily I don't...
