Re: Edinger? Time for some love
The stuff Joe sent me arrived today, so after work I started on rebuilding what I could, still need to pick up the Dubro links for the steering links, but most of the rest can be reassembled, here’s some pics of what I’m up to
I would normally do more progress pictures, but you guys would’ve seen many many Gold Pan rebuilds over time, so I figure these sitting as almost a roller can show how this thing is looking, compared to the before pics I’m quite happy so far

she's shaping up beautifully. You need to redo the rear shocks however. there should be a 5/8" length of silicone fuel tubing placed inside the shock on the shock shaft before you install the shaft. an internal limiter. otherwise, you get that super jacked up look, and the springs are forcing the arms into their stops on the chassis. (step/figure 121 in the manual)

Re: Edinger? Time for some love
Thanks for that info Joe, I rebuilt the shocks before I downloaded a manual (didn’t look at the manual as I’d already done them). The previous owner didn’t have the tubing in there, so I didn’t realise it was required. It’s probably why the outer drive cups look like they have been hitting the rear arms under full droop.jwscab wrote: ↑Wed Apr 17, 2019 11:21 am she's shaping up beautifully. Re: Edinger? Time for some love
Rear shocks re-rebuilt, this time with the fuel tubing travel limiters, and the body painted and stickered , now to work on spot lights and driver figure, I’m using a polycarbonate driver
Other than what’s left to do body wise, Left to do is electronics, steering links and a motor

Re: Edinger? Time for some love
I’m gonna throw this out there, does anyone have the ball ends from a front stabiliser bar, and the connecting ball cups that they don’t require. I have the original stabiliser and the balls for the front arms, but am missing the rest, cheers Kym

There are plenty on ebay search for dubro 180, these are the original part. Now discontinued by dubro but are plentiful on ebay.
