Hi Guys
I have many RC10's in my collection (5 gold pans, 1 RC10T Truck (black pan) - and a Brian Kinwald Worlds Car re-release- NIB)
I would like to get into Vintage buggy racing and most of my current RC10's are work in progress or a shelf queens (too nice to race) and I've noticed there is a RC10 B4 Stealth on Ebay at the moment NIB, the price seems good considering it's NIB and 16+ years old and I've heard that the B4 was an amazing RC10 for its time (world champ winning car) and it looks like it's in the UK where I am also.
My question is is the B4 Stealth a good RC10 to add to the collection for either vintage racing or even a shelf queen etc. I was kinda out of the sport at the time the B4 came out so don't really have much experience with this model.
Cheers

At this stage I would say no, but in another 15 years maybe. So in theory now would be a decent time to buy.
I would look for a 1st generation car if possible which had a different gear cover and a few other differences.

I was old school - when old school wasn't cool !

Thanks buddy, so worth getting now for the future also NIB I can either have the fun in building it for the first time or add to my NIB collection.
Whats the difference between the 1st gen and this Stealth version, I think this the team kit?
Cheers

On the left side of Associated's site there is a drop down for discontinued vehicles. You can compare the different versions from there, plus they have all the old manuals, set up sheets, etc. Great resource for rebuilds.

Warhead...I'm thinking like you are. I recently got a B4 for my collection and feel like now's the time to buy. Also, since Associated (and seemingly everything else) has gone mid engine and (in my opinion unappealing) "cab forward" looks, anything that's rear engine looks "classic" to me. It reminds me of in the 1:1 world since Ferrari stopped making old school manual trans cars (with an actual clutch and shifter), the last models that were available with clutch/shifter have been very desirable on the secondary market.
