TAG Coyote 4WD loosely based around the Umberto Pernice team car with too many hand-made custom parts to list, but includes a carbon-fibre central drive shaft, suspension geometry revisions, chassis made from carbon-fibre sourced from a dismantled Caterham F1 car, original Gisom (Italian) wheels with optional team-TAG one-way adapters (shown fitted and unfitted in these two pictures), and custom paint.
Two-and-a-half year long(!) build progress and general research thread with lots more pictures can be found here:-

<sorry for the delay guys, nothing's happening as planned these weeks
This is not the one I had in mind but this'll do>
Here's my original MB from 1986 - no re-re were hurts in the restoration of this car, last decade already. The pics are from 2008, too
there are lots of non-stock parts on this car, most of them were on it when I bought it in the late 90's... Thorp transmission with Losi sliders, AE shocks, CRP bumpers, CRP rear shock mounts, CRP front tower, Dynamite tyres... and some stuff I'm probably forgetting. Then I put on a proper servo saver, some adjustable front links which are raised like crazy to remove some of that ludicrous bump-steer
10 years ago there was an AE stocker on there with a traxxas speedo, since then it's been bumped up to a mild 23.5 sensored brushless system and it's a good match, really.
What inspired this build was actually an article from our very own @shodog where he described how he got a wet-look finish on a (from memory...) 2-color gold and candy red tamiya Pajero (or was it a Wrangler? Can't recall now). I don't know how many cans of red (PS8?) and how many sheets of 1000 grit sandpaper and clearcoat was used on this body, but the finish i had obtained was INSANE - think ceramic coating.
Then I decide I'd run it and it flipped over at the first turn
Still have this baby and it's a looker that draws crowds every time i pull it out. Albert Attaboy is forever a legend
