The problem I am having is with the rpm ball cups binding up at the shock tower and bellcrank. I installed stock AE ball cups and no binding. This biuld was based on a 'whats old is new and I see rpm cups used . What am I doing wrong? If I redrill...

your bellcranks look like the inner nut/bearing retainer is sitting with the nut side down, which raises the inner ball stud higher as well, try flipping that so the plastic nut is on the top side of the bellcranks- and try the AE low pro ball...
Traded for a T3 a while back and just now got around to running it. My main problem is that the wheels don't clear the rod ends, front or back. They appear to be the stock rims like you'd see at

I've had a few sets of Duratrax Evader ST wheels for years, thinking I would some day use them on one of my T3's... After this thread I figured I better check 'em out.
The Duratrax front wheels clearly have a deeper offset than AE fronts!!! Bummer!...

Then, your other possibilities are-
1) split wheel on either side allowing the axel to spin inside the wheel it should be turning
2) missing or broken drive pin
3) spit slipper pin
4) glazed slipper pads
5) incorrect slipper arrangement
