Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Nice finds Basher ! I've been hunting one of these for ages , a new Primary belt cover for a Hirobo Zerda , was happy to see the bellows in the kit and even happier to find the rubber in good condition not hardened or perished , I'm tempted to ask if anybody can make a mould from it to make copy's as they are getting quite hard to find .
If a jobs not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well.

On that theme Dadio I just received a new in packet pair of SRM Racing one-way rollers for the Mini Mustang, along with a whole heap of other goodies. Nice Brimod stash, including a pair of Intermediate shocks, some Associated-Reedy wheel discs, a new set of absolutely spotless Proline Yoke rims (yummy), a WASP CAT slipper, a Suzuki spindle for the Yoke with a Hydradrive unit, unused RC10 undertray, Parma gear cover, loads of random wheel adapters, pair of Teamline 5deg castor blocks, and a mis-matched pair of Gisom alloys to have as spares for my other complete sets. There is also some cool paperwork on Brimod and MG products
CAT SWB&XL, Meteor (x3), RC10 custom, RC10 Graphite, Goldpan, 870c (x2), Works 91, Samurai, Pro Radiant (x2), Mini Mustang&Maxima, Mid Turbo, TOP Hybrid , Coyote, Hot Trick Optima, Supercharge, Brimod, 'Rory Cull' Hotshot, SRB.

This can be used for making copies. I would check with one of the rc body suppliers. I know I would buy one. The only other option I found was on shapeways, but it’s white or black, not clear.Dadio wrote: ↑Sat Apr 04, 2020 5:46 am Nice finds Basher ! Nothing - absolutely nothing. USPS is being really slow right now. 2 purchases, but less than 40 miles away - I opted for shipping to maintain social distancing. One has a delivery date of 21 days from purchase, the other is just stuck as 'in transit to next facility' for a week.
But, keep posting up your guys stuff

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
I've never been a Merc fan but I recall when they campaigned this CLK in the GT series back in the late '90's and thought it made a stunning looking race car.
Here's some background info on the car: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mercedes-Benz_CLK_GTR
Tamiya once made an RC replica of this car then discontinued it at some point. When they announced in January the plan to re-release the CLK-GTR, I just had to have one.
So this one will be finished box art and built for display.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Not through the post but bought through a local eBay seller.
The guy, a former model shop owner was clearing out some old stock, I’d asked him if he’d got anything else for sale and he’d said not. After a bit of a natter, I spied these three and asked if he wanted to sell, he gave me a price I couldn’t refuse and home they came.
My usual deal is I buy at full retail, sell at trade and pay the postage both ways but I think I did ok with this one!

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
This came today and i'm pleased so far , very pleased , i saw from the pictures on ebay that there was a broken top arm and a missing drive shaft but when i opened the box i found inside the drive shaft an a brand new top arm set , I still need to clean and investigate and I'm hoping to find the metal crown wheels in the diffs , fingers crossed

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
I got this package of SG Coyote parts today.
Pretty pleased with it all , the tires are perfect condition and the diff kits may have the nylon crown gear but the bevelled pinion is steel , the bevel pinions for the diffs in the car I'm restoring are plastic so now i just have to hunt down some steel crown gears .
