Hi,

I got a tip regarding a Junior T for a reasonable price and from a neighbour country here in Europe.

I bought it thinking it would be a nice pile of parts.
It turns out the truck has never been run. Not a scratch anywhere.
I guess it is a late one since it has the white front bulkhead and a light grey gearbox case.

Having a closer look everything made of steel was rusty!

The rust have now been removed (or parts replaced) and new bearings have been fitted all around.
The only thing missing is the rear body mount. So I made a CAD model, got some measurements from helpful members on this forum and 3D-printed one in blue filament. I will keep it blue as a reminder to try and find an original one.

I could not find anyone that makes Junior T bodies. So I got a JConcepts Chevy and cut it to fit.
Anyone knows where I can find a Junior T body?

I also found a LXT in mint condition. It has some minor marks on the chassis but basically has never been used.
It has the Retrofit 2.61 gearbox but was missing the body and one rear turnbuckle.

And that was easily fixed. TBG makes beautiful bodies and MCI provided decals.

I actually had a JuniorT and a LXT (converted buggy) back then.
Still have the box front for the Junior T and the complete box for the LXT convertion.

Junior T bodies should be available from Teambluegrove in Canada, I sent them the nos body to make the repros.

Those are some great finds! Two beautiful trucks I wouldn't mind displaying either!

Yes, Team Blue Groove makes Junior T bodies, ans MCI makes Junior T decals.
There is an example of that combo at the bottom of page 2 of "post pictures of your Losi véhicules" from Lavigna.

MCI has the masks and decals.

Its the way they are listed. TBG is "Jr T" and MCI is "Junior T".

I just paged through the 5 pages for Losi collection looking for it and it wasnt there apparently it is not linked under that collection.

I just knew they did them as I have one, bought a complete unfinished Junor t with uncut body years ago just so they could make them.. was a bit spendy lol

I ordered a big box of bodies from TBG just a couple of months ago. Never saw that they had the Junior T body and never thought to ask them.
I even had special colored decals from MCI made. Decals that are now on the Jconcepts body.

Guess I'll have to place another order then.

I contacted TBG regarding the Junior T body. It turns out they had stopped making it due to supply shortage for the specific Lexan needed.
However they managed to make me a body using a different material. Big thanks to Trish and Jon!
MCI provided the decals. I tried the function where you can change out the colors. So now the decals match the body.

Then it took a long time for me to paint and to get it mounted on the Junior T.
