RC10 world rear axles
Well after many many years,my son became interested in my old worlds car. After a pile of upgrades it goes to fast has to much torque and is way to cool
. Now I need help, broke a stock rear axle and need guidance to find something that will fix it. Im hoping to upgrade to larger 3/16 axles. But have no clue what parts will or will not fit into the rear hub. Help please

Got a picture of the broken rear axle?
If you can find them in stock for a reasonable price, the Custom Works short CVD kit CSW7210 is a nice upgrade. You will need 3/8" OD 3/16" ID flanged wheel bearings (if the World's car still uses flanged bearings). You would also need rear wheels for the 3/16" rear axles.

Re: RC10 world rear axles
I just checked that out, looks good. Ya finding any parts for these relics is a pain. I bought some rc10b74 rear axles not paying close enough attention. They should almost fit if i had correct bushings and bearings but then again i thought, why not change the hub assembly to b74 if it would fit the lower pin.

The CSW7210 kit is available on Amazon right now but they want $37 rather that the $28 price that most hobby retailers charge.

Re: RC10 world rear axles
Any pictures of what your rear axle setup currently looks like could be helpful, just to confirm.
If the rear bearing carrier/hub is just a straight through hole with nothing to stop bearings from being pushed all the way through, then you need flanged bearings. Those are industry part number FR166ZZ. If flanged bearings aren't needed, then R166ZZ will work. A total of 4 are needed to do both rear axles. I last orders mine from Avid, but those part numbers work on many places. Hobby suppliers, Amazon, etc. Avid is basically $1 per bearing so I get spares.

Re: RC10 world rear axles
The axle with the roll pin is the axle I bought to replace the broken original but it has a different style. The axle below it is the new identical replacement but I need a new Pin/ set screw thing. Where can I find it. The pin that is pictured is to short for the this old style.
