thanx. The trax are smaller than I thought but will work.MarkyDents wrote: ↑Mon Mar 20, 2023 4:56 pm Sweeeet trax but what’s up with the pill of raw T noseplates !?
The pile of raw T noseplates were yesterdays "what did you do RC today?" activity. Had a bunch of them in the carcass tote that came off of GTs. Straightened, cleaned up gouges, then bead blasted to get them ready for powdercoating and annodizing. Still have to clean up the annodizing ones but thats as far as I got.

Boki stuff ordered this past Thursday morning, arrived this afternoon. Talk about quick movement and an A+ for the US postal service. Also, first time purchasing from Boki. Couldn't be more pleased with their very prompt responses to messages and items were shipped out same day ordered.

The tires are for a 6-gear project I am making this year and the b3 arms mount have no purpose at all right now.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Out of a box of graveyard motor parts, with the addition of 2 bearings and 2 brush springs there was the makings of a nice running Sagami can 13T single screamer. Unfortunately one of the 3mm mounting holes in the can is stripped out.
. . .
I'd like to put a decal on the can rather than leaving it naked, but I don't want to put a decal on that misrepresents the motor as being something it isn't. Maybe I'll need something custom.

If the motor is just for you to use I wouldn't worry about what decal you put on it.

It is just for my collection. I still don't want it to be a decal that another motor would have had because i don't do that with my other motors.

Got some vintage electronics.
Airtronics XL2P
Futaba Magnum AM, 210CB esc, and R112 receiver.
I've wanted a nice XL2P for a while but I wanted 27mhz to avoid any compatibility issues, finally found one.
I also wanted a Magnum AM as well but many are overpriced, missing parts, or completely trashed.

Always looking for new and interesting ways to waste money.
