Higher potency than the regular 3% over-the-counter stuff.
Definity take caution!
Just a FYI, you can find hairdressing peroxide at most beauty supply stores, and some up to 12%. I use the "Salon Care Volume 20" most of the time, in clear liquid or creme, depending on the size of the part(s). The volume number represents its HP percentage. 10=3%, 20=6%, 30=9%, and 40=12%. My local Sally Beauty has all the volumes in the store. Quick little article: https://www.using-hydrogen-peroxide.com/hairdressing-peroxide.html
For me, another week, another Tamiya. I might officially be a Tamiya guy now. I didn't know what the other chassis was from the seller's pics, but now that it is here, it is clearly a Traxxas Street Sport, which means I now have a parts car for when I get around to mine.

I build RCs like people would have done back in the '90s ..................................... if they had 3D printers.

Well actually, now I need some more 48p spur gears.
Much nicer than the piece of wood with nails in it that we used to use.
Never thought I would be this excited to get a box of a half a dozen used, old and likely half dead batteries but here we are. Living in Canada, I had to source in country as I cannot get ‘hazardous’ materials across the border (groan).
These will be used to complete my 1994 box art YZ10 and my Pavidis replica. Almosssttt there!

I come for the RC10's but stay for the Yokomo's
Current projects:
1993 WCS Faux-komo
1994 Yokomo Box-Art
RC10GT Restoration
A pair of mint Robbe Geronimo rear wheels and tires , same as Tag Jet but more to the point for me they are PB Mini Mustang rear wheels
If a jobs not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well.
A problem shared is a problem halved but an advantage shared is no advantage at all.
Got a delivery yesterday from my great mate Mark / @Mad Racer... some bodies I can use for my T3 race truck. Not sure which I will make fit just yet, but either should work. Silver one is a cab-forward from a 22T, and the unpainted is designed to suit the XXX-NT... but some quick placing on my T3 chassis shows either should work fine.
For those unaware, Mark started this very thread almost 11 years ago.... thanks mate!

A bit of an eclectic haul today of good parts. I was actually upset when I saw these Proline wheels had sold on eBay. I was mad at myself for not grabbing them. I had completely forgotten I had ordered them. I was happily surprised when I opened the package tonight.

Yep, one nice thing about getting older is that I can buy gifts for myself and still be surprised when I open them.
Yesterday I got a nice lot of Losi shock parts. Here’s the good stuff.. a like new set of JrxPro SE shocks, various springs including a set of 1.5” Kinwald blue that I didn’t know existed..and a set of thin shock collars with no cracks.
I've been digging, doing some research, tapping into the past. On my journey I've Found some very interesting early posts by a lot of currant members here in the archives. Very interesting stuff! I encourage newer members to do the same, as the old...

Nope. I'm not clicking on any links in this thread because I know one of them is going to be Farmer's pic. :P
None of them were about that picture.
But now one of them refers to it.
But seeing how often it is mentioned in this thread, it sure...
I built this today, its just a start, it was hard to get a picture of the whole track, unless I stood really far away... anyways more to come soon. its gonna be a lot of fun and was not too hard to do for just a few hours work! i made the rails out...

Thanks to Hoopty for the design, and Mrlexan for the production. They look great. And Thanks again Jay for the body and wing to put them on, can't wait to get 'em dirty. :D

The seller even included a free gift of 4 bearings. Wow, can't wait for my tires to show up too (same as what's in the pic here).
Got a bunch of stuff now, including the RC Channel rear metal kit, SRB alloy chassis and nose. Just need the RC4wd...

since there is no rc4wd local distributor here in our place, they didnt ship here without approval, wasted a lot of good stuff from them (we need to order in a long process)
This seems to be a hugely popular thread on another forum out there, so let's see how it do here?!?
Simple, what did you do RC wise today? Pics or it didn't happen! Painted a body, rewired a ESC, mounted some wheels, finished a 3-year project...

Three days and multiple coats of easy off oven cleaner to get the nasty white paint off these yokomo bulkhead caps. Tomorrow I will prime them then spray with tamiya metalic green.
Going though my old pitbox I found a untouched b4 sticker set including window masks.
Is there already a scan of these in the group? Otherwise, how would I go about getting a good scan to upload?
