Factory Works/JC Racing T Case ???
ok so i'm going down a lot of rabbit holes for various transmissions. just looking at options for replacing the 6-gear. Looking at the factory works/jc racing tranny case and going through the parts they list. I was able to track all the parts except for one. The last one before the bearings. its listed as Spring P/N - 7939. what or where is this found? didnt see it on the associated website. google couldnt find either. Any guesses here?

looks like John slipped up, that should say 9739, its the spring for the slipper.
If you want to save some money, sometimes you can find RB10/DR10 kits broken up and most of the stuff is usable. The diff can be used, you will need some shims. The idler shaft, top shaft, slipper components, spur gear and bearings will fit (as that is what they are from). Not sure your location, but this one from Nitro-Master is $56 plus shipping and would be most of what you need- just need the 91717 idler and 10mm shims- quantity depends on how thick they are- you need 2mm worth). https://www.ebay.com/itm/144257255383

It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas
