LOLOL - you are right! I thought it was strange - as Alex has indeed been selling off his collection. He certainly had some nice cars and kits.Mr. ED wrote:alex is inetRC, I guess Darryn didn't see alex's post is dated 2006

Re: More AYK restorations
Hi guys,
Sorry to go off-topic with this thread but I was wondering if there is a simple way to clean up all the metal parts on AYK cars?
I bought a used Bobcat quite a while ago (i'm a big AYK fan) and really would like to clean it up as much as possible, however I have a nerve disease in my hands which basically makes it very difficult to do any sort of vigorous cleaning/scrubbing for more than a minute or so.
I do have a dremel and a drill press so was wondering what buffing or polishing compounds I could use to help the metal parts?
I was also thinking about buying one of those ultrasonic cleaning baths - has anyone tried one of these?

Hi mate,
Lost your number ages ago - happy to help out. I have a heap of polished stuff, and a couple of methods.
Bit busy at the moment though now as I am preparing for the vintage enduro this weekend....happy yo chat on the phone though. Will post up some processes I use when I get back.
