JRX T & JRX Pro Chassis?
I'm thinking of building a JRX T out of all the JRX era parts I have.
Are the JRX Pro and JRX T chassis the same,or does the T have more kick up in the nose?
The PRO chassis certainly has the extra length.

Re: JRX T & JRX Pro Chassis?
They are the same chassis in regards to length and kick up. Both with 30 degree kick, the original shorter JR-X2 chassis has 20.
Originally came out on the Proformance Kit upgrade, without a hole for the large steering servo saver, and on the early JR-XT, the same chassis. Then the JRX-Pro started the hole for the servo saver. Not sure, but I think at some point the truck went to the servo hole chassis.
JR-X2 in front (A-4000), Pro kit/early XT in rear (A-4040):

You sure about that? Overlay them, then let us know what you find.Bongo Fury wrote:They are the same chassis in regards to length and kick up.

Re: JRX T & JRX Pro Chassis?
Well, perhaps not. Must admit I never had an actual JRX Pro. It was always my understanding that it was essentially the kit form of the Proformance upgrade kit. Mr. Louder’s comments about the extra length of his Pro chassis seemed to fit with that assumption, but I really don’t know positively I guess.
Please explain, I would like to know, and certainly don't want to be offering bad advice.

"Mr. Louder"
Hmmmmm....I reckon they're the same chassis, but then again,I have never owned a JRXT.
Comparing my JRX Pro against my JRX2,the Pro chassis has got way more kick up in the nose (sorry for speakin' like a skateboarder, old habits die hard
)
3 people in the know have said that they were the same chassis, now.
I hope I don't have too much of a nightmare finding the neccessary parts for the truck conversion...
Thanks for the help on this,Bongo.
Jay-Did you get my P/M?

Re: JRX T & JRX Pro Chassis?
Think I've solved this one.
Looking at the Losi Proformance instructions, the chassis is listed as 'Long Chassis-A4040,Monster Truck'.
COOL! JRXT,here I come

I suspect that mrlexan was refering to the 2 chassis pictured in the comparison(clearly different wheelbase and caster angle) and mis-quoted bongo.mrlexan wrote:You sure about that? But I'll admit that I did re-check my chassis platesjust to be sure

As far as I can see, the pro, x-t and pro-formance chassis all have the same dimensions only variation being the servo saver cutout.

It appears that in fact, reading IS fundamental.aconsola wrote:I suspect that mrlexan was refering to the 2 chassis pictured in the comparison(clearly different wheelbase and caster angle) and mis-quoted bongo.
