well that isnt my car first of all lol. i personally was going to use these spacers, have used them in other cars, they work great

then there are always these

or these
http://cgi.ebay.com/Dynamite-3MM-Countersunk-Washers-Gold-10-/160622971007?pt=Radio_Control_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2565e0087f
Here is what i was going to do personally to make the links i was going to cut a bar of aluminum, center drill it, tap it with a heavy duty 4-40 tap, have them anodized red, and screw in 2 stainless screws to it. u WOULD NOT need a reverse thread end link for this method, but it wouldnt act as a turnbuckle either, the distance would need to be exact on the first shot cause there is no adjustment on this method.

Re: Gold pan whole lotta metal build.
I believe he got them from one of the members here that goes by Atlas. He also sells them on ebay but can't remember his ebay I.D. right off hand. He does them in batches so sometimes he is out and sometimes has them. Search him out and drop him a pm here and see what he can do for you...aoH wrote:sorry, new to the RC10 resto stuff, where did you get the alu rear toe blocks?

Re: Gold pan whole lotta metal build.
I think the rear arm mounts on this car are GPM products. I had a blue set new in the pack that look just like these. I have another set of the rear arm mounts from Atlas on the car I got from flip. Those have the center portion of the hinge pin exposed too, but are more rectangle shaped.

Re: Gold pan whole lotta metal build.
yeah, thinkin your right. now that I go back and look at them vs. the atlas ones they are different.Thanx for bringing that to my attention askbob.
But on the other hand Atlas makes them in aluminum if thats what you were after. If GPM is what you were after thats gonna be a little harder to find...

I have two black, one was a runner the other one is new but got the chassis drilled by a novice for diagonal battery mounting
Guess im gonna use the drilled one for my Real Racing tube chassis build up since couldnt sell the drilled one. One had the gold worlds nose on it,which i thought was odd.
