Don't know what you see but they were $199 on rc10.com for a long time. My LHS can't match that cause they PAID around $240 when they were released. They are stuck with em. lots of places are dumping them, so yes you will see them cheaper...but $199 is "street price" for them

I am tempted to get one of these, not because I don't want to build, but because it would avoid all the missing or mismatched parts so many have reported in the kits.
((at least I hope they wouldn't send out a roller with missing idler gear or slipper assembly rubbing on the motor plate...))

i only paid $179 from a main like a month ago. u can find em from $180-$220 on ebay nib
As mentioned above they are having poor Don build a bunch of em to get rid of em! Probably easier than dealing with the problems the kit was bringing. Nothing special except that the parts will all be there and correct (where the kit could be missing parts and have poorly fitting top shaft etc)

Oh, you guys were serious about this? I'd missed this when I first saw the description - "Expertly built in house by Team Associated’s tech staff and racers." Racers too? They must've had a build party.
