Mr. ED, I'd probably go for the wider tires, front & rear. I'm building my blue Optima with shorter front control arms, so narrow front tires won't be necessary.Mr. ED wrote: C. I think I have those tires at home and will try to remember measuring them for you. I actually have the corresponding narrow fronts too... do you need that width also?

Re: Red Optima
I checked but the tires are different: mine have conical spikes instead of those piramids
Re: Red Optima
Coelacanth: The tire width is 1.625 in the rear and 1.5 in the front.
The tire is stretched a little bit in the rear.
Changed out the shocks for reds, side guards and front bumper.

Re: Red Optima
Thanks for the info, ballhog. I'm keeping that in mind for when I receive my bead-lock wheels. Awesome photography, that car's looking outstanding! Um...don't you think it needs a cool project name?ballhog wrote:Coelacanth: The tire width is 1.625 in the rear and 1.5 in the front.

Re: Red Optima
Sharp build. Love those wheels too.
I haven't seen too many builds with the milled out frame rails like yours, are those Option House?

Re: Red Optima
This is a nice build, the red looks awsome. I'm building a similiar optima but in all gold, same rims but in gold
