I find that in general, ALL Doritos have too much seasoning on them. It's incredible how many calories a 'serving' of Doritos has, and I suppose the least of it is the corn-chips themselves. I like 'em though.

Great, now I'm on the hunt for the 3rd Degree chips.
Has anyone every tried Blair's Death Rain series of chips? http://extremefood.com/shop/home.php?cat=9 I tried both the Buffalo Wing (med) and the Habanero (hot) chips and they are delicious, great heat heat and flavour.

If I don't find any here I might take you up on your offer.

In my earlier post I gave the wrong link to where I get my supplies. http://www.leeners.com/ is the correct one. Damn, I was at the store and forgot the Doritos. I've been jonesin' for 'em since this thread started.

Re: Doritos 2nd Degree Burn and hot sauces!
Found myself a bag of 3rd Degree Burn today.
Plus, the 3rd Degrees don't have nearly as much seasoning 'stuff' on them as the 2nd Degrees do. (which is good imo)
It's a toss up for me, whether I like the 1st or 3rd Degree chips the best.
At first I thought they weren't as hot as the 2nd Degree, but after I got halfway through the bag, it started getting hotter. My nose was running by the end of the bag, so I guess that means they are pretty hot.

What store did you find them in? I've tried Macs, Metro, Food Basics, Walmart

I got them from Rabba (a sort of 'fancy' convenient store), a guy at my work said he found them at pharmaplus.

Re: Doritos 2nd Degree Burn and hot sauces!
I found a place that sells 3rd Degree burn. I tried a bag today and honestly I think I found the 2nd Degree hotter. Maybe I got a bag from a 'milder' batch but it didn't get me the heat I was looking for. They do how-ever have a nice taste to them and the habanero flavour is definately there. So while there weren't as hot as I hoped for, they were very tasty.
Perhaps I'll buy a bag of both the 2nd and 3rd and try them side by side.

Well, since posting that I've moved to North Bay so I don't know where exactly in Kingston they still have them. The ones I got where at the Macs store on the corner of Bayridge and Princess. I talked to a Frito guy since then and was told that they were a limited time offer
You might have a hard time finding them now though.
As a side note, if you go to the Bulk Barn on Princess, you can pick up some Blair's Death Rain chips that are stupid hot!

Thanks for the quick reply Mindwarp! I'll be heading out tomorrow to see what I can find. And I'll definitely be picking up Blair's. I've had them once before in st. catharines, but never knew they were available in kingston! Thanks!
