around me I can pick aluminum angle up at any kind of building center or hardware store like Menards/HomeDepot/Lowes, Farm&Fleet, Ace hardware, etc. Also, lots of places online...

Not nearly as cheap as the aluminum but there are places that sell angles in carbon fiber also.

I see. Thanks. I'm in Los Angeles. I'll look for some aluminum angles and have someone cut it down to the appropriate size for me.

CF would be cool as well.

A pic of the original body that I painted for my younger brother way back when. Car is pretty clean now with the exception of the glue on the chassis from the old spine.

So I bought a chassis that's scratched up but has the original spine on it. Can I remove the original spine, assuming it's glued with old CA, using acetone or something else?

Hey folks.

Got kind of busy. I found a 870 C with a spine and took the spine and added it to my chassis, which is in substantially better condition then the donor chassis. I need a couple camber links and a couple small screws and the base chassis is complete. The body is something I or my brother originally painted with the purchase of the kit from the hobby shop my brother worked at.

I may display as is or add some vintage electronics or batteries, etc. Let me know your thoughts. A couple small things that I cannot decide whether they bother me - mismatching front and rear wheel screws (black and silver), mismatching shock ball attachment hardware.

How do I attach a wing?

Also, does anyone know how to embed images from Google Plus?
