First and foremost, I know NOTHING about oval racing, but for some reason I thought I remembered cars running 1 short and one longer arm, but maybe I am crazy. I know that some of the bodies were offset and ran large wing dams.

A few of the locals that ran at Aero when they converted it to an oval once in a blue moon ran exactly what you describe, a 10t arm on the right and a buggy on the left. They also ran kyosho sideways sprint bodies and rear tires. It was not a track that you would see a custom works or cobra nemesis at, too "small time" and they were working with what they had locally. The cars were....interesting.
I have a lot of love for a radical offset super modified (Rebel Jackson Sr was my hero, RIP) but that offset doesn't translate in rc according to everything I have ever read
It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas Factory Works website
So this is a project I've wanted to build for a few years now but never really got around to it, at one point I even had most of the parts, ended up selling the R&D rear bulkhead and mounts I had, and used the chassis for a truck.
Fast forward to...

I have some used ( used up ) ones that I have been clinging to for years- I know that Kranzels still has some hanging on the walls-
really? I'll give David a call in that case, I know he still has some thorp 64p 2.25 gearsets on the wall too, with...
Just wondering if any one can tell me the difference between the normal XX-4 and the worlds edition? Are there other versions as well?

You can still piece a xx-4 worlds car together with all the parts that are still available. There are some nice mods available as well with the X-5 still hanging around! The problem with the Trinity aluminum parts is the cost factor. That and if and...
Hey all, I'm new to the forum and am thinking of getting back into rc and giving the old cars an upgrade. So I thought I would just post my car (fresh with dust from sitting around for the past 10 years or so) for the fun of it.
I did upgrade it...

No problems with the transmission or the car.
In fact during practice one day, Jeremy and I were going back and forth with setting the fastest laps (just for fun mainly) and by the end of that day (next day...
I've been in this hobby a long time and it's no secret that many companies use the same kit under different names...but this one is strange! The Traxxas nitro hawk/street/buggy kits were all the same basic chassis and layout, but I've never seen...

That is a nice collection of vintage Traxxas rigs. I especially like your grill shelving unit . Thanks for the posting... I was working on a collection of vintage cars, but I recently left my Wife and a good chunk of my collection  ....
I am new here. But I am the original owner of my buggy.
A couple years ago I changed out the gold tub for the black one because the gold one was beat and I could not find a gold one. I have also replaced some of the plastic with black (white pieces...

oh... never thought of just cutting off the sides I don't need... DUH! I have some like that. Thanks for the great idea!
I guess I needed yet another project. Found this one on eBay for around $25 and threw most everything away lol.
Sourced new bulkheads, motor mount is on the way, and cut out a fresh chassis
I would love to find a jammin upper brace and battery...

I already have the 870c and undertray from them, and they don't really do group buys but if you contact him outside of eBay usually you can save a bit of dough
I don't mind the screws at all, that's what makes it a Yok, I just don't want to run...
Also finished this the other day its a 97 spec yz10 which would have been used by the yokomo team prior to the 97 worlds, kind of done in Masami colours.
