I just got conformation: the avid internetsite WAS incorrect. However, they dealt with the matter perfectly! :D

The bearings are re-ordered and on their way!

Sadly, no  All our snow melted today though, so if it's warm maybe sometime this week I'll make it to the track before dark  it gets dark at 5pm this time of year

I would flip those wheel spacers around. They are made to be used with the flat side out to help keep the wheel plum on the axle. :)

Received and installed my hubs yesterday! for my t3 8)

Image

looks good so far !

Image

When I installed them, the standard CVD's seemed a bit short (the cvd bone) .....
Image

I happend to have T4 cvd's and they worked perfectly! The t4 bones are al little bit longer as you can see in the picture so the CVD's won't pop out on maximum downtravel.

haven't driven yet, but looking forward to that! :D

Nice! 8) Did you try any limiters inside the threaded shocks in combination with the T3 CVD's?

No I didn't try that.... My shocks just had a revision so I didn't feel like opening them up again

On full droop the T3 CVD Bone was only just inside the outdrive. Now with the T4 CVD on full droop it is perfect.

personally the T4 route seems simple and bullitproof or am I missing something here?

no, the B3 and T3 use unique rear hub carriers with a different offset than the gt hubs you are using. So the T4 cvds would likely line up better.

I took the truck for a quick  testdrive yesterday and it seems to work perfectly. So I'm keeping it the way it is right now!

Thanx again for the input !

Just for an FYI.... Customworks makes a rear hub Part #3241 that works very similar to these RPM hubs. Except they use a vertical ballstud mount with 3 positions and they use standard size T3 bearings. Just for when these hubs start to get hard to find, these are a good option and nearly identical dimensions. Just the ballstuds mount differently ;)

(Scr8p gets the credit for that, I'm just spreading the word, :))
