It's sad to hear but if it's not fun and profitable as well as not taking you away from your hobbies then it's very understandable. I do hope the molds find a good home as there are some very cool pieces in that collection!
It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas

Don't know if I ever will anymore and considering selling the molds. Sorry, that's prob not what you want to here. But to due to many reasons, I just can't justify the time and expense anymore. I know there are a select few die hard followers and I greatly appreciate it, but I can't make the business case based on a handful of those followers.
Sell them to Blue Groove! :P

Run away...... run away now before Mr Lex beats me like a red headed step child!

Jay and I have been discussing the molds for a while now, and I can promise...with 100% certainty...that there is no way they will end up there, or will any proprietary shells.

see how much these parts go for, I dont think I could buy it either way. I'd love the chance to model all these things to see how it works and how everything fits together.

talking about a 4wd kit that is.

I've talked to him, though it's been quite a few years. He's been out of the business and I don't think he'll return. Last I did chat with him, he was just planning on sitting on his stuff.

Let's not turn this thread into Lexy future plan or lack there of. On with the MIP 4X conversation.......

Actually I didn't want to solicit it, but I've been waiting on the one comment that I haven't heard yet, or an in a long while. I am surprised no one has jumped on it yet.

those mip kits look very depressed, knowing they'll never be installed in a car because they weren't designed for a losi or kyosho.

FINALLY. Good to be back and glad it came from scr8p first. Good traditions should and will last forever. I'll never post a completed RC10.

Just 'cause they weren't designed for a Kyosho or Losi don't mean they wouldn't fit with some creativity.

He could do a '93 Worlds 4wd JRX repro or a MIP 4x400 Scorpion just to prove you wrong. ;)
