Unless they have changed the design the JCRacing wheels are for the works '91or later only. They dont fit the 870c.

The deep off-set rears were also intended for, or also used on the RC10. :)

Well, this is disappointing  if it says ORIGINAL YZ10 you would think they mean the early cars. Oh well.

How much narrower will those wheels make an 870c?

JC wheels, 2.2" I see about 7mm each side so 14mm total narrower than an 870c

Yeah and its an box for vacume cleaner so its rather big , but since i
Had yokomo adapters for my cats and lazers it was easier to have just one type of

Ouch. 14mm a bit too much to try and make up. So, is it concluded that the only wheels to keep an 870c at proper width are going to be 2.0 deep offset wheels, like stock, or the prolines?

yes, 7mm is what I calculated in the rear. I made special offset adapters to compensate.

Yes, or other period wheels like the Imex.

There are three different size Team Yokomo options for the rear of your 870C or Team Associated/Yokomo imported YZ10. The front wheels for the 870C also have a different off set compared to the newer "Works" cars. If wanted, I can show you that as well. :)

Stock 2.0 inch rear wheel.

Roar Regulation 2.15 inch wheel.

And finally the 2.2 inch rear wheel, all of these part numbers have the deep off set needed for the rear of the 870C!

Hey Aaron i started a thread and asked a similiar question re the works 91/93? Is it the same story ie they have some offset wheels or hubs because if i use the JC racing wheels Nd suzuki hubs the rears come in 1cm less in width then the front? looking at the manual the hubs look the same..cant tell re the wheels
