Ok, I found tons of 100 degree screws, just no 102, or 82 degrees.

Thanks again,
Dave

yes those screws would work nicely.

honestly, I believe they used 100 degree countersinks on the entire chassis, and should use 100 degree screws all around. using the #4 screw that are 82 degrees are why the heads stick out proud of the surface of the chassis. always bugged me.

So there are alternatives? I'll have to give those a try.
. . . you have Associated Green Slime for brains. And not even new Green Slime, but old gooped out Green Slime.

Installed them and they work great. They mount perfectly flush.

http://www.boltdepot.com/Default.aspx usually a little cheaper than fastner express.

http://www.albanycountyfasteners.com/ for stainless steel (but they dont have the 100 degree 8/32) after your order comes ot 19 bucks shipping is free. one of the cheapest i have found for or per screw.

I had bought the Tony's Screws a couple months back....
The chassis screws that come with that are a complete waste.....n you get a lot of em too.
Then you get a bag of these 2/56 screws.....a bunch of em....I don't know what their purpose is....

But I give this Tony guy credit for one thing.....
He ain't hiding from the fact that he screws you.......He gives you the stickers right with your package that read "you've been screwed by Tonys screws".....n this brother got balls. Not only does he stick it to you with the stickers, he even includes his business card.

Copycat! Trinity had the you've been screwed gimmick in the late 90's!

I'm not sure why but I just ordered a set of the Protek titanium screws that Amain sells for the world's car re-re. I really wanted to use a coupon for my order and needed a few more $ to get to the minimum, so I just figured why not. I'll post up if I feel it was worth it.
