I added a hydra drive.
I modified a 90 tooth gear and the backing plate so I could use a 69 tooth spur and the great thing about having the extra gear is that it turns the same direction as the motor and tires.

The car jumps better with the 4th gear and has a little more rear traction.Minter wrote:Please describe your observations in the difference in handling between forward and reverse motor rotation. Very curious!
