Best purchase I ever made, you won't regret it! Use 60/40 rosin core and set temp high for thick wire, battery bars and motors. low for servo wires. Make sure you always have a nice shiny joint! You don't want a dull grey joint, this means a cold or overheated joint. Shiny is just right!Momo5 wrote:Hakko 888 soldering iron. I'm hoping the hakko will turn me into a soldering pro.

Thanks Alex, but it looks like the wife got me exactly what I'll be looking for on Christmas morning. Beautiful view by the way!Incredible_Serious wrote:Oh, and a great festive season and awesome 2013 for all my mates on here (even that Thumbs bloke!).
I wish she'd knock on my door and say "I'm all wet, can you come in?".scr8p wrote:i want elisha cuthbert to knock on my door christmas morning and say......... i'm all wet, can i come in?
Actually, what I'd really like her to say is so filthy that the mods would have to all fly together to a central point in order to discuss how to go about editing the post.THEYTOOKMYTHUMB wrote:I wish she'd knock on my door and say "I'm all wet, can you come in?".
