Best purchase I ever made, you won't regret it! Use 60/40 rosin core and set temp high for thick wire, battery bars and motors. low for servo wires. Make sure you always have a nice shiny joint! You don't want a dull grey joint, this means a cold or overheated joint. Shiny is just right!

well, my gift came early (the wife broke down and let me keep it, didnt have to wait).

Associated ProLite 4X4 SC truck

Even though I got it a couple weeks ago, its been raining so I havent been able to hit my favorite outdoor track yet :(

The 22nd is our reschedule Toys For Tots race, so plans are to debut it there, maybe with the new SC10 I bought yesterday as well (shhhhh).

A new 12R5.2, I've been wanting to get back into carpet racing for a while. And a Motonica P8C for the spring so I can get my nitro fix.

To make it to Christmas would be nice.....

To have the working year finish by Christmas would be nice..... but HIGHLY doubtful.

I already got my dream house and location for my birthday back in September.....

World peace would be nice.... so would Powerball numbers (before they're drawn, even better!).

I think I'll settle for having at least one rc car running, that I can run in the grassy area across the road from my place, or the sand behind that.

Oh, and a great festive season and awesome 2013 for all my mates on here (even that Thumbs bloke!). I'd offer coal for my 'enemies', but that's useful.... so I offer them instead a lifetime subscription to Indian-based telemarketing calls that could save them 5% on their electricity bills!

Not much cynicism my way this year........

Thanks Alex, but it looks like the wife got me exactly what I'll be looking for on Christmas morning. Beautiful view by the way!

some time to actually do some rc stuff. so far ive only been collecting cars / parts. (I still havent touched that 10T alex  )

Wife did get me an early present though, a lego space train from 25 years ago :D so thats a good start (though, like everything else, it will stay in storage, waiting till I have time...)

I forgot about two motors sitting in a drawer in a certain hobby shop.

I wonder if they are still there.

Actually, what I'd really like her to say is so filthy that the mods would have to all fly together to a central point in order to discuss how to go about editing the post.

Well, no regrets on the getting a good deal on the Sidewinder sale in November at Castle, but I now see that they have a new V3 of the Sidewinder that's water proof. That would be nice too. And because no one in their right minds would spend that kind of money on me... got myself an new VAIO laptop. Told the wife now's the time to get it before everyone sells out of the windows 7 computers and the only thing left is windows hate. (I don't understand the marketing campaign for that. With 7 they showed you what it could do. With 8, they just show people with tablets dancing like lemmings with very unhappy faces. Never show it being used.)
