ya, it happens. i built a new sc10 a couple year back that had one .89 shock body and one 1.02 shock body packaged as a front shock set.

i don't know if i should sell it or keep it. it'll probably just sit the way it is until i can get around to it. but i know people on this forum would love it and give it a great home. i dunno i'm still thinking about it.

I personaly would finish the car, no harm running the vintage Futaba radio you have already. Just run it gently, no huge jumps ect. You can find someone to profesionaly paint the body if you dont want to or cant. I bought a body for my RC10 painted like the artwork on the box. But I also have a beater body for play time. Good used tires are easily found on ebay, so you can keep your tires like new for display. There is a really nice display base for AE RC10 gold pans on there to. I think after the nice part of money in the wallet from the sale wears off, you would regret selling part of your childhood in the long run. I vote on finishing the car, playing with it gently to avoid any damage. Then get yourself a newer RC10b4.1 to race/bash with. Thier brushless or even the brushed RTR is a blast to play with. It is very hard to put a price on childhood memories, they are far to personal and thus......priceless!!!!! Cheers Mike

Thanks Brain, I never did find it on E-bay.ca, Maybe it was just on E-bay.com, anybody know if a chop shop got it, was wondering what stamp was on the chassis.

We get the same thing on thesamba.com about vintage VW's . Someone posts the find of a lifetime and everyone goes nuts then it pops up in the classifieds.

I did find out from nmore1, that it was a B stamp chassis, If anyone was wondering. I have come across a 6 gear with a B stamp myself, but since mine was half built, I had assumed that someone had done part swaps. I have since made it into a stealth version. I had thought only A, and AB stamped chassis were only used for the 6 gear.
